While moving to a new home is challenging, moving your business to a new location can cause a different set of stresses. Here are some tips and tricks to help your business move keep everyone happy.

Talk it out: Have an office meeting and conversation about the plans as soon as possible, so that your employees understand what is happening and what to expect over the course of the next few weeks to months. If you speak to them and address their fears or anxieties at the beginning, it will go a long way as the process moves along.
Put together a team: While some duties for the move may be obvious due to jobs and roles, you should discuss how others can help with the move and ensure that they understand the role so you can all work as a team to get the job done.
Schedule up expectations: Have a timeline for how the moving process will work from packing to unpacking at the new space. Having a timeframe will help everyone stay on track so that you can be at your new location as scheduled.
Keep client in the loop: Send out emails or letters about the move to your client list and partners with your new address and if there will be any interruptions in services due to the move. You do not want any client trying to reach your staff unaware of the changes that are occurring.
Label, label, label: When you are packing up supplies and more, take time to label the boxes so that they can be deposited into the right room right when you get to your new place to help make unpacking easy.
