Yeah Elite Truck Rental! I appreciate y’all so much, especially after having lost a week on obtaining a truck through another local company, Budget Trucks at approx. 1800 S. Wabash–who I found out that a reservation only “reserves the quoted rate.”
Pedro was awesome! To prevent a repeat of previous bad company, I rode my bike there. He, and the other office worker, were extremely cool, friendly, and efficient. He showed me the truck and, since I hadn’t moved in 20 years, shared some loading/driving tips with me. They open early, at 7 a.m., so I was able to pick it up really early. Unlimited miles and 4 full days to move from Chicago to Knoxville.
I also just called them to tell them thanks as well–what a true relief of the major stress I was feeling!
